Scotch Broom and Gorse Removal at Heceta Dunes- November 7

Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party to remove Scotch Broom and Gorse plants at Heceta Dunes on Saturday, November 7th from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. It will be a 20-30 minute walk to where we will be working and we will be working on moderately sloping terrain. There is a maximum of 20 people who can attend, so it is important for you to email Brian Saunders, ODRC Staff Person at brian@eugenecascadescoast.org if you plan on attending. Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, July 24th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Holman Vista Day Use Area. We will be removing small to medium-sized Scotch broom plants along Vista Road and perhaps a few gorse plants near Sutton Creek.

Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, August 14th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Baker Beach Campground. We will be removing small to large Scotch broom plants in the vicinity of the campground. It will be a short walk on relatively flat ground to the work areas.
