Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, July 17th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Heceta Dunes to remove Scotch Broom! July 17 will mark the 11th annual Power of Florence event. We are thrilled to host an event that honors the amazing individuals who volunteer, give back, and make a huge difference in this community!

We will meet at the east end of Joshua Lane at 9:45 a.m. Please bring hand saws, loppers, shovels, gloves, water and snacks. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and a hat are recommended. For those of you who need tools, ODRC can provide weed pullers and shovels. Soft drinks after the weed pull will be provided for those who want them!

DIRECTIONS: From Florence, take Highway 101 North from Florence. Turn left on Heceta Beach Road. Turn right on 4th Avenue and go to the end. Turn right on Joshua Lane and go to the east end of the road where we will park and meet. Please do not block driveways and mailboxes.
