Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, July 24th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at the Holman Vista Day Use Area. We will be removing small to medium-sized Scotch broom plants along Vista Road and perhaps a few gorse plants near Sutton Creek.

We will meet at the end of Vista Road (past Sutton Campground) at the Holman Vista Day Use Area at 9:45 a.m. Please bring loppers, shovels, or hand saws along with gloves, water and snacks. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and a hat are recommended. For those of you who need tools, ODRC can provide loppers, weed pullers or shovels.

DIRECTIONS: From Florence, take Highway 101 North approximately 4.5 miles. Look for the Sutton Recreation Area sign on the left side of the highway. Turn left on Vista Road, go approximately 2 miles, past Sutton Campground to the Holman Vista Day Use Area at the end of the road.
