Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, August 14th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Baker Beach Campground. We will be removing small to large Scotch broom plants in the vicinity of the campground. It will be a short walk on relatively flat ground to the work areas.

We will meet at the end of Baker Beach Road on the south side of the Baker Beach Campground at 9:45 a.m. Please bring loppers, shovels, or hand saws along with gloves, water and snacks. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and a hat are recommended. For those of you who need tools, ODRC can provide a few hand saws, loppers, weed pullers or shovels.

Due to Covid-19, we will need to stay a safe distance apart (6 feet) while working and wear face coverings if we need to get closer to each other.

DIRECTIONS: From Florence, take Highway 101 North approximately 8 miles. Turn left on Baker Beach Road and go approximately 1 mile to the end of the road at Baker Beach Campground. Park on the south or left side of the Campground.
