Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, August 14th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Baker Beach Campground. We will be removing small to large Scotch broom plants in the vicinity of the campground. It will be a short walk on relatively flat ground to the work areas.

Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, August 28th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Honeyman State Park, H Loop of the campground. Meet at 9:45 a.m. at the Parking Area for H Loop which is at the south end of the loop. It will be a short walk to the work site and we will be working on relatively flat ground. We will be removing medium to large-sized Scotch broom.

Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party to remove Scotch Broom on Saturday, September 11th from 9:45AM to Noon at the Waxmyrtle Day Use Area and Sand Road. We will meet at the Waxmyrtle Day Use Area adjacent to Waxmyrtle Campground. We will be working along the sand road, so the terrain will be relatively flat. Scotch broom plants range from small to large.

Help celebrate National Public Lands Day by joining the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party to remove Scotch Broom on Saturday, September 25th from 9:45AM to Noon at the North Jetty of the Siuslaw River Park. We will be working along the road at the end of North Jetty Road removing large Scotch Broom plants.

First volunteer work party of 2022! The Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative (ODRC) is excited to announce our first work party of 2022.  After a long winter the ODRC has planned its first work party to be held on Saturday, April 30th at Heceta Dunes.  Everyone is invited to come spend the morning pulling scotch broom and gorse at this lovely location.  This location has been worked on for many years by local volunteers.  This is a great opportunity to see how just a handful of volunteers have made a huge impact on one local area.  Please join the ODRC on [...]
