Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative

Due to heavy rain that is in the forecast for June 11th this event is going to be postponed until further notice. Volunteer work party scheduled for Saturday June 11th at 10AM. This event is a collaboration volunteer project with McKenzie River Trust. Please join us at Oregon Dunes Day Use Area. Join us at John Dellenback on Friday June 17th at 10 AM.  We will meet at the main parking lot and walk to the west area to pull scotch broom.  Bring water, snacks and good hiking shoes.  This event will last until noon.  John Dellenback trail is located just west of Lakeside.  Limited tools will be provided.  It is also recommended to bring gloves, shovel and a hand saw.

Join us Saturday July 23rd for a volunteer work party at Heceta Dunes.  We are looking for volunteers to join us at this volunteer work party.  Volunteers will gather to remove scotch broom from the Oregon Dunes.  Volunteer work party will start at 10 AM and go until noon. RECOMMENDED TO BRING: Shovels and hoes work well for the small plants. Loppers, tree saws, and shovels work well for the larger plants. Bring drinking water and a snack.
