Heceta Dunes – Florence, OR

Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party to remove Scotch broom and gorse plants at Heceta Dunes, Saturday, August 8 from 10AM to 12:30PM. It will be a 20 to 30 walk to where we will be working and we will working on moderately sloping terrain. There is a maximum of 20 people who can attend. So it is important for you to email Brian Saunders, ODRC staff person, at brian@eugenecascadescoast.org if you plan to attend and let him know how many people are in your group.

This event has been canceled due to the ongoing CORVID-19 pandemic.

Due to Governor's "Stay At Home" policy, we have canceled our ODRC work parties for April.

UPDATE: Showers are predicted for Saturday, so you will want to bring raingear. We will hiking on a narrow trail to the worksite, so the brush will be wet. See you Saturday at 10AM!

Help Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative volunteers remove Scotch broom at Heceta Dunes on Saturday, November 9 from 10AM to Noon. Meet at the east end of Joshua Lane. There will be a short hike to where we will be working. We will be removing various sizes of Scotch broom on flat to moderate slopes.
