Scotch Broom Removal at Wild Mare Campground – Saturday, November 16

Wild Mare Campground

Help Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative volunteers remove Scotch broom at Wild Mare Campground on Horsfall Rd., Saturday, November 16 from 10AM to Noon. We will be removing mature Scotch broom plants on level terrain. This work party is weather-dependent. If the weather is predicted to be rainy, we will cancel, so check back to this page a day before the event. If we do work this day, it will be the last work party for the calendar year. If it is raining and we cancel, we may try to have one more work party in early December, weather-permitting.

Cancelled – Scotch Broom Removal at Umpqua Dunes Staging Area – Saturday, March 21

Umpqua Beach # 2 Day Use and Staging Area Salmon-Harbor Drive, Winchester Bay, Oregon, United States

Due to Federal and State public health authority requests to limit groups to less than 10 people and to limit discretionary travel for the next month, we have decided to cancel our ODRC work parties set for March 21, 25 and April 4. Our work parties generally have 10 to 20 people and some of us are older, so even though it is outside, it is probably wise to cancel for everyone's health and safety.
