Help Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative volunteers remove Scotch broom at Wild Mare Campground on Horsfall Rd., Saturday, November 16 from 10AM to Noon. We will be removing mature Scotch broom plants on level terrain.

This work party is weather-dependent. If the weather is predicted to be rainy, we will cancel, so check back to this page a day before the event. If we do work this day, it will be the last work party for the calendar year. If it is raining and we cancel, we may try to have one more work party in early December, weather-permitting.

BRING: shovels or spades, loppers, tree saws, gloves, and drinking water. Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat are recommended. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. A limited number of tools will be available to borrow if you need them.

DIRECTIONS: From North Bend, go North on Hwy. 101 across McCullough Bridge. Turn Left on Transpacific Hwy. Go approximately one mile and turn Right on Horsfall Rd. Go approximately two miles and turn Left into the Wild Mare Campground.
