Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative on Saturday, August 28th from 9:45 a.m. to noon at Honeyman State Park, H Loop of the campground. Meet at 9:45 a.m. at the Parking Area for H Loop which is at the south end of the loop. It will be a short walk to the work site and we will be working on relatively flat ground. We will be removing medium to large-sized Scotch broom.

Please bring loppers, shovels, or hand saws along with gloves, water and snacks. Long pants, sturdy shoes, and a hat are recommended. For those of you who need tools, ODRC can provide a few hand saws, loppers, weed pullers or shovels.

Due to Covid-19, we will need to stay a safe distance apart (6 feet) while working and wear face coverings if we need to get closer to each other.

DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 101 SOUTH from Florence. Turn RIGHT at Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Follow the main road and signs for overnight camping. Go past the visitor booth, staying on the main road until you reach H Loop. Follow the road until you see two parking areas next to a chain link fence. Look for orange cones for the place to park and we will meet there.
