Come join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative volunteers remove Scotch broom at Heceta Dunes on Saturday, January 12 from 10 AM to Noon. Meet at the east end of Joshua Lane. As always, those who want to leave early or work later are welcome to do so. There will be light refreshments after the work party.

The National Weather Service is predicting Saturday will be mostly sunny and the temperature will be in the high 40s during the work party.

BRING: shovels or spades, loppers, tree saws, gloves, rain gear (just in case), a sweatshirt or jacket, and drinking water. Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat are recommended. Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome.

DIRECTIONS: Highway 101 NORTH from Florence. Turn LEFT on Heceta Beach Road. Turn RIGHT on 4th Avenue. Turn RIGHT on Joshua Lane…drive to the east end of Joshua for parking. (Please do not block driveways, mail boxes or fire hydrants).
