Help celebrate National Public Lands Day by joining the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party to remove Scotch Broom on Saturday, September 25th from 9:45AM to Noon at the North Jetty of the Siuslaw River Park. We will be working along the road at the end of North Jetty Road removing large Scotch Broom plants.

Please note, due to Covid-19, we will need to stay a safe distance apart (6 feet) while working and wear face coverings if we need to get closer to each other.

Please bring loppers, shovels, hand saws, or reciprocating saws along with gloves, water and snacks. Long pants, sturdy closed-toe boots or shoes, and a hat are recommended. If you need tools, ODRC can provide a few hand saws, loppers, weed pullers or shovels.

Directions: From Highway 101 in Florence, turn west on 35th Street. Turn right onto Rhododendron Drive, turn left on North Jetty Road. Stay on North Jetty Road all the way until the end of the road. We will meet at the gravel parking lot at the end of the road.
