The National Weather Service predicts good weather for this Friday, November 16th, so come join local volunteers and members of the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative to cut and pull Scotch broom at Lagoon Campground and Trail from 10:00 to Noon. It is a short walk to where we will be working. The work site ranges from level to moderately sloped terrain.

BRING: Hand saws, loppers, shovel or spade, gloves, hat, drinking water, snack or lunch. Long pants and closed-toe, sturdy shoes are recommended. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash.

DIRECTIONS: Highway 101 SOUTH from Florence. Turn RIGHT at the sign for Siltcoos Recreation Area. Turn RIGHT at Lagoon Campground. Go past the Host Site and park at the trailhead on the RIGHT.
