Join Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative (ODRC) members, Armand Rebischke and Dina Pavlis, at the Oregon Dunes Day Use Area on July 16th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM for a guided hike on the beautiful Oregon dunes. The hike will provide a chance to learn about the history, geology, topography, plants and wildlife of the Oregon dunes. You’ll also learn how the dunes have changed over time and what local organizations like the ODRC are doing to help save them. We recommend you bring closed-toe shoes, layered clothing, sun protection, and water. This hike is moderately difficult and attendees should be able to hike up and down varying dune slopes of soft sand. Please email us at saveoregondunes.org for more information or if you have questions. The hike is free and open to the public (registration is not required), but a fee of $5 per vehicle (or NW Forest Pass, Oregon Pacific Coast Passport, or Golden Age Passport) is required. The Oregon Dunes Day Use Area is located near Milepost 201 on Highway 101 between Reedsport and Florence.  We hope to see you there!
