Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative volunteers at H Loop of Honeyman State Park to remove Scotch broom from 10AM to Noon on Wednesday, August 28. Meet at the Parking Area for H Loop at the south end of Honeyman State Park overnight camping area.  It will be a short walk to the work site, and we will be working on relatively level ground on a sand road.

BRING: shovels or spades, loppers, tree saws, gloves, and drinking water. Sturdy closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a hat are recommended. Some weed pullers and other tools will be available.

DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 101 SOUTH from Florence. Turn RIGHT at Jessie M. Honeyman State Park. Follow the main road and signs for overnight camping. Go past the visitor booth, staying on the main road until you reach H Loop. Follow the road until you see two parking areas next to a chain link fence. We will meet there.
