Join the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative work party at Alder Dunes Campground, 1.2 miles north of Sutton Lake boat ramp on Saturday, June 12th from 10 a.m. – noon to remove Scotch Broom!
There is a maximum of 20 people who can attend, so it is important for you to email Brian Saunders, ODRC Outreach Coordinator at brian@eugenecascadescoast.org if you plan on attending. Also be sure to let him know how many people are in your group.
PLEASE NOTE: We will need to stay at least 6 feet apart while working and wear face coverings in the parking area. Once we are away from the parking area, the face coverings won’t be necessary.
BRING: If at all possible, bring your own tools and gloves. A hat, long pants, and sturdy, closed-toe boots or shoes are recommended. Bring your own water and hand sanitizer.
If you don’t have tools or gloves, let Brian know. ODRC has a few hand saws, loppers, shovels, and washable glove if needed.
DIRECTIONS: From Florence, travel north on Highway 101 for six miles. The campground is located on the west side of the highway.
