John Dellenback Dunes

Thank you for your interest in helping the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative.  We are hosting our next volunteer weed pull on Saturday, August 20th at John Dellenback.  Please mark the date on your calendar.  The work party will begin at 10 AM and end at noon.  Bring water, a snack, sun protection, and good walking shoes.  Basic hand tools will be provided.   Directions: From Florence and Reedsport, travel south on Highway 101.  Look for signs for “John Dellenback Dunes Trailhead”.  It will be on your right (West side of the highway) immediately after the Eel Creek Campground. Join us at John Dellenback on Friday June 17th at 10 AM.  We will meet at the main parking lot and walk to the west area to pull scotch broom.  Bring water, snacks and good hiking shoes.  This event will last until noon.  John Dellenback trail is located just west of Lakeside.  Limited tools will be provided.  It is also recommended to bring gloves, shovel and a hand saw.
